As part of the Year 7 Agricultural
Studies Program the student visited
the Gabbe Family Farm at
Gymbowen last week.
Roger, Tim and Nick Gabbe showed
the students around the farm, on the
way talking through their family‟s
various farming practises with the
group.
Throughout the visit the group was
shown Rogers‟ „Belmont Angus Cattle
Stud‟ and the machinery used in their
cropping operations.
Nick showed the students around the
sheep that they have purchased as
well as the merino flock they have
bred.
