As part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Year 7 Agricultural<br />
Studies Program <strong>the</strong> student visited<br />
<strong>the</strong> Gabbe Family Farm at<br />
Gymbowen last week.<br />
Roger, Tim and Nick Gabbe showed<br />
<strong>the</strong> students around <strong>the</strong> farm, on <strong>the</strong><br />
way talking through <strong>the</strong>ir family‟s<br />
various farming practises with <strong>the</strong><br />
group.<br />
Throughout <strong>the</strong> visit <strong>the</strong> group was<br />
shown Rogers‟ „Belmont Angus Cattle<br />
Stud‟ and <strong>the</strong> machinery used in <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
cropping operations.<br />
Nick showed <strong>the</strong> students around <strong>the</strong><br />
sheep that <strong>the</strong>y have purchased as<br />
well as <strong>the</strong> merino flock <strong>the</strong>y have<br />
bred.<br />
