With approximately 40 world-class service centres strategically located throughout
the world, including 12 in North America, our dedicated service centre staff are
ready to provide responsive, reliable support for your rotating equipment. We
recognize the importance of your repair work and work closely with you to minimize
downtime, cost and lost production revenue.

Our custom-designed Edmonton service centre maintains 31,500 square feet (2,930
square metres) of shop space and 6,808 square feet (632 square metres) of office
space. Resources include the following:
• Twenty-nine machine tools, including:
horizontal and vertical boring mills;
lathes; drills; milling machines; grinders.
• Digital readout equipment
• Overhead cranes with up to 20-ton capability
• Schenck Balance, each with Cab 690s (1)

Each employee is updated annually through computer-based safety training.

Regional Expertise (Sales, Field Service, Technical Support)
Whether your nameplate identifies Dresser-Rand or another manufacturer, our
integrated field service teams can help you develop cost-effective, field-proven
solutions for repairs, overhauls, upgrades, revamps, rerates, remanufacture
and nearly any other challenge involving rotating equipment and related control
systems. Our field service team is supported by an extensive technical support
network consisting of R&D teams, equipment design engineers and aerodynamic
performance engineers who are available to help you conduct application and
feasibility studies for complex projects.
Our Edmonton service centre has field service representatives, mechanics and
millwrights available 24 hours a day with fully equipped service vehicles that are
ready to respond immediately to your repair requirements.
Rotor Storage
Our rotor storage programme has spare rotors inspected and delivered and ready
for installation, typically within 24 hours. Our Edmonton service centre has a safe,
secure, climate-controlled facility to minimize delivery times and shipping costs.
Rotors are stored vertically using custom-designed hanging fixtures to prevent
bowing and are check-balanced before shipment.
Maintenance Overhaul Kits
Dresser-Rand experts work closely with you to define all parts, tools and paperwork
required to perform maintenance on your equipment. The required materials are
assembled, stored and sealed in a custom-made weatherproof box (maintenance kit)
to provide protection from the weather and damage during handling and transport.
With the maintenance kit, you save time during maintenance activities because you
have all the necessary materials on site. Expedited charges for missing, incorrect or
damaged parts are eliminated.
