several documentaries on
Lam will be shown: 1902-
1946; 1946-1982; y ,
produced by Seven Doc
from France, directed by

Sex in the City, group
exhibition of pieces by
renowned artists (Roberto
Fabelo, Rocío García,
Duvier del Dago, René Peña,
Jorge López Pardo, and
others) and a younger
generation of artists who
are making a name for
themselves in the world of
visual arts (Lancelot Alonso,
Stainless, Tai Ma Campos,
and others). The exhibit
focuses on homoeroticism
which is the main theme for
some of them and an
occasional topic for others.
This attempt to transgress
the limits between
eroticism and pornography
has been described by quite
a number of viewers as
lewd. The gallery, however,
has registered unusual
attendance rates.
Umberto Peña: regreso a
un pintor visceral, an
exhibition of over 30
pieces, which include
paintings, drawings and
engravings by artist
Umberto Peña who lives in
the US. He is one of the
most important and
influential creators of
Cuban graophic design.
Gritos en la pared. Hitos
del cartel cubano
contemporáneo, is a
collection of 200 posters
(1959-2012), most of which
are related to the cinema,
and the others fall within
the category of economic,
social and political
propaganda.
Made in Cuba, first solo
exhibition of sculptor
Alejandro Díaz Matos. Ten
pieces, almost all of which
are made of steel, explore
Cuban themes.
