RE: Highly Capable Program Plan 2013-2014<br />

In accordance with WAC 392-170-025, the Highly Capable Program (HCP) annual plan,<br />

assurances, and budget are annually approved by the district’s board of directors. Below you<br />

will find the proposed plan for Highly Capable Program for the 2013-14 school year.<br />

In an effort to align our program and services for grades K – 12 to be consistent with the new<br />

requirements of WAC 392-170, the Bellingham School District is using the 2013-14 school year<br />

as a transitional year as noted in i-Grant 217 Highly Capable Students Program.<br />
