With its fourth edition the A&P Berlin Summer Rave is a classic.
On May 25, 2013 we will launch the Berlin festival season this year and will set a new
standard by which all other parties in 2013 can be measured.
We launched the first A&P Summer Rave Berlin in 2010 to prove that Berlin is still the capital
of rave despite the departure of the love parade. With the first three Summer Raves we have
demonstrated this. We have made a lot of friends with this festival and left the critics
speechless.
2013 will be characterized by substantial growth of our Berlin Summer Rave.
For the first time we are celebrating in four side by side
hangars of the airport, there are three dance floors which
are completely equivalent, but also very different, and a
chill out area.
Line-up, technology and lighting have significantly
improved to actually offer a perfect rave.
We have remained true to our motto, to offer great quality in
all respects for an affordable price; you will not find such a
mega event for the ticket price of 29.99 Euro anywhere else.

2013 - This is new!
NEW: For the first time, we are celebrating in 4 large hangars of the airport Tempelhof.
NEW: 3 hangars are large dance floors, 1 hangar is a pure chill-out area.
NEW: The dance floors have three totally different concepts: PLANET BASS is the rave-floor
compiled by DJ WestBam. OSTFUNK is presenting itself and its friends, the HOUSE hangar is
organized by FAZE magazine, a leading German magazine for electronic music.
NEW: Together with the open area the 4th A & P Berlin Summer Rave will have a capacity of up to
25,000 guests.
NEW: For the first time there will be three female headliners on the A & P Summer Rave Berlin:
Lady Waks, Schmitzkatze and Bebetta

A&P BERLIN SUMMER RAVE
Technical gigantism for the rave of the year!
The A & P Summer Rave Berlin 2013 has the aim to further improve and to make - especially
from a technical point of view - every effort to ensure that on May 25, 2013 a rave will be
celebrated that no one will ever forget.
All hangars have been completely redesigned by our architect of lights, Michael Kuhn, to give
even the guests who have already visited all Summer Raves, a real flash.
Hundreds of hard-working engineers and volunteers work 2 days and nights to build up the
technology for the 4 hangars and to program light, sound, video and special effects.
Almost 100 tons of equipment is required. Round about three kilometers of traverses,
several kilometers of cables, more than hundreds of LED spotlights, beam lamps, spots,
strobe and ‚specials‘ have to be arranged. 16 men will be engaged in the programming of
light, lasers, video and kinetics. And as always, there will be some technical surprise.
Lasers should not be missed: The different systems will almost have 100 watt together and
its laser beams will create spectacular cross section cuts in the fog in the PLANET bass and the
OSTFUNK-floor.
The sound system is L-acoustics-K1-system again, used and proven by Rammstein on its tour
in 2012. The amplifier power on the two large floors is round 100,000 watt and not less than
36 18 inch-woofers per floor make sure that the bass can fully develop.

The grandmaster will come to the 4th Berlin Summer
Rave and is bringing along his new album
“Götterstraße”. His DJ sets at Berlin Summer Rave
as well as on all Maydays and lots of other festivals
are always absolutely celebrated highlights.
For every set he makes new edits and delivers
perfectly new mixed music. Altogether he creates
an unforgettable live performance…so just feel
it…live at Berlin Summer Rave 2013!
MR.x and mr. y I
Afrika Islam and Westbam alias Mr. X and Mr. Y
are one of the most popular live acts, not only in
the techno scene. They celebrate chart hits like
„New World Order“, „Global Players“ and „Free
Me“ and in 2011 they had a furious comeback at
the MAYDAY in Dortmund.
Now they are celebrating their long-awaited
comeback in Berlin at the Berlin Summer Rave!!

Drauf und Dran is one of the Berlin acts, who has
made the leap to international stardom and stands
for a special Berlin party style like almost no other.

I Marc de pulse
With “Lessons in Dub”, his hundreds of releases on
labels such as EASTWIND, BluFin and YIPPIE Marc
de Pulse is one of the innovators of the German
techno scene. He mixed the Number One Hit
“Westbalkon”. Now it is the perfect time for his
Summer Rave debut!

So far Stereo Jack was at all Summer Raves and is
the only one on the “Techno Allstars floor” who
played really pure, pure techno. Currently he is in
the Studio with Boon & Co as often as he can.

Dumme Jungs
I VITALIC (LIVE)
Vitalic currently ranks as one of the most
internationally significant and successful
artists and represents the ‚present Rave and
Lazer Techno with Future Noises‘ better than
any other artist in the present day. Our
international headliner is a hero of the new
techno generation.
Due to his LPs “OK Cowboy” and “Flashmob”
the Frenchmen has become a worldwide
star. “Rave Age” is his new album with its
new hit “No More Sleep” – a title that is a
credit to our Summer Rave!!!

„Dumme Jungs“ are the hottest rave act
in town. Noisy! Heavy! Fight club! Once
David Bwooi and Senior Carlos started as
party promoters in different strange
locations, but now they work together
with Steve Aoki, LMFAO und Lil+Jon and
Gtronic. Their Label “Oh my God it´s
techno music” is not just a name; they
release their own tracks and rock the
dance floors of all great festivals.

The rave multi activist is finally
back on the main floor at the
Summer Rave, where she already
inspired the audience with a
furious set of electro-breaks in
2011. Since then she worked hard
on her international career and
has gained many new fans by
performing on many festivals
throughout Europe like the
legendary Kazantip.

She and her audience will freak out!
The young Berlin DJane embodies the
techno style of the present like almost
no other, having names like dirty
techno, NuRave or future techno. She
already gave a warm up for techno
stars such as Steve Aoki and

Summer Rave debut.

Aka Aka and their trumpeter Thalstroem are one of the most popular live acts of the techno
scene and have been one of the biggest highlights at Berlin Summer Rave in 2012.
Without a doubt they developed their own individual and unmistakable style, which other
artists are expected to adopt. Now, in 2013, they will represent their new set.

I ELECTRIXX
With super hits like “Tetris” the Berlin duo smashed into international rave line ups like no
other. In Brazil they played in front of an audience of 15,000 and more people. Like almost no
other live act, Electrixx will enchant the crowd.
One especially fascinating visual highlight will be their use of lighting suits pitching the mood
on the Ostfunk floor to higher levels.

I TORSTEN KANZLER
In terms of harder techno, Torsten Kanzler is
one of the most popular DJs ever. He is the hero
of Tresor´s „Kanzlernächte“ and the maker of
the “Basstech” series. For OSTFUNK, he makes
no compromises and will send you on a special
trip.

The quiet OSTFUNK maker made a mark
through numerous releases on the in-house
OSTFUNK label in 2012/13, among which some
real club hits could be found. His followers
grow and grow, as a result of his involvement
in the Club of Magda.

The OSTFUNK mastermind and the cheerful
puppeteer of the OSTFUNK empire hardly played sets
in the past. Therefore he has something very special
for his Summer Rave appearance in 2013.

recently have played very strong solo

Match Hoffman is one of the best groovemaster
on the OSTFUNK controllers true to his motto:
“to love music means to live it”. The crowd was
really thrilled by his Summer Rave Set in 2012 so

Ben Boehmer is a star of the latest OSTFUNK
generation, who is already known in the Berlin Club
scene. His set fascinates through its independence
and the mix of progressive House and melancholic

Arts & Leni were the winner of the OSTFUNK
“9 year party” and have convinced everyone

Jaybase is a veteran of OSTFUNK who has accompanied the
history of the label since its early days and who has worked
as a DJ at various love parades and parties around the
globe. His DJ sets are a fine mixture of technolectro-progressive-house,

The headliner is Mousse T., a smart gentleman
of the German house scene, not only
known as one of the biggest producers in the
world, but also as a DJ for famous house
grooves. His worldwide hits like “Horny” and
“Sex Bomb” made him to an international
superstar.

I Tom Novy
Tom Novy is one of the giants of German
house-scene: as DJ, producer, presenter (FAZE
TV) and as figurehead of the German house
scene. He plays all over the world at the most
important festivals such as ADE, WMC, ULTRA
or MAYDAY and is looking forward to his
second gig at the A&P Berlin Summer Rave
after 2011.

The Gloria Game Boyz really rocked the small
Smoosyhouse floor last year. Due to this they
get a place in the big “House hangar” to
provide the template for Mousse T.

Berlin meets Bremen. Born in Bremen
Bebetta is one of the climbers of the past
months. Her production
“Herr Kapellmeister” ran in each tech
house set and her grandiose DJ gigs are
celebrated. At the Berlin Summer Rave
the versatile artistically gifted Bebetta
will show her definition of deep house
music.

I FALKO NIESTOLIK
Born in Berlin and Salzburg resident by choice Falko
Niestolik is the next superstar of the European house
scene. His remixes for Tom Novy or Laserkraft 3D
rocked the floors and his production “Banger” has
lived up to one`s name. His strength is the
combination of soulful vocals and pumping
arrangements - that´s what Falko Niestolik will
demonstrate at the Berlin Summer Rave.
