3.2 Weak <strong>for</strong>ms<br />

In the sentences in transcription exercise 26, we’ve seen<br />

how the UNstressed syllables usually have weak vowels.<br />

Sometimes, these weak syllables are whole words. They are<br />

usually the function words in the sentence:<br />
