This so-called 'intrusive r' is thus a regular phonological rule
in RP and most other non-rhotic accents of English, although most
people consider it somehow 'inferior'. Usually, however, they
don't notice when it occurs.

r also has an unvoiced variety, which like unvoiced l6 occurs after

2.5.5 Affrication of tr and dr
The initial sounds in Icelandic trú and draum are different from
English true and dream. We say that tr and dr are affricated in
English, rather like T and D. Practice making these different
sounds:
