To celebrate Museum Day 2011 <strong>The</strong> Great Synagogue, the<br />

oldest Jewish congregation in Australia, will be hosting the<br />

exhibition Treasures <strong>of</strong> <strong>The</strong> Great Synagogue in the AM<br />

Rosenblum Jewish Museum. As the first Jewish museum in<br />

Australia, the AM Rosenblum Jewish Museum holds an<br />

unusual and extensive range <strong>of</strong> material relating to the history<br />

<strong>of</strong> Jewish worship in Australia. This new exhibition features a<br />

variety <strong>of</strong> artefacts from our historic archives, museum and<br />

synagogue collections as well as the Rabbi LA Falk Memorial<br />

Library. Public tours on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12 noon<br />

(except on Jewish and Public Holidays).<br />
