Museo Casa de la Moneda<br />
La fabricación de la Moneda (<strong>The</strong> Mint Manufacture) (10am – 7.30pm)<br />
Free entry, Visit, Workshop.<br />
Guided tours for the exhibition will be conducted all day long. <strong>The</strong> public will be able to attend demonstrations<br />
<strong>of</strong> hammer minting <strong>of</strong> medals and intaglio printing, techniques that are used in the mint manufacture<br />
respectively for coins and bank notes. <strong>The</strong> medals and engravings executed during the demonstrations will be<br />
raffled among the visitors.<br />
Visitors will be <strong>of</strong>fered a souvenir <strong>of</strong> their visit and will be able to participate in a draw for a valuable collection<br />
coin. Young visitors will be able to participate in a painting competition. Moreover, public is invited to our<br />
exhibition commemorating the 25th anniversary <strong>of</strong> Spain's entry into the EU.<br />
Guided tours: 11:30 am, 12:30 am, 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Free entry. Required reservation for groups<br />
<strong>of</strong> visitors.<br />

Greetings from the AMBA (<strong>The</strong> friends’ association <strong>of</strong> the Museo de BB.AA y Artium de Álava).<br />
We would like to make you participate to our <strong>of</strong>fer on <strong>International</strong> Museum Day. <strong>The</strong> most important day for<br />
the friends <strong>of</strong> <strong>Museums</strong>.<br />
AMBA on this day it wants to remember the citizens. We want remember those who struggle for the need to<br />
create a space that make us real.<br />
(to look / to know / to investigate / to guard / to spread / to think / criticize...) are the heritage <strong>of</strong><br />
contemporary art that the Diputación Foral de Álava has been buying for the enjoyment and the pride <strong>of</strong> the<br />
whole society <strong>of</strong> Álava.<br />
It has its own name: Centro Museo Vasco de Árte Contemporáneo Artium.<br />
We will remember it.<br />
We will invite the whole society to report and leave their memory in THE LIBRO DE LA MEMORIA.<br />
We want to leave a blank sheet so that every citizen ex<strong>press</strong>es his experiences in / for / from / about<br />
<strong>Museums</strong>. Suggestions, worries, needs, congratulations, objections, future...<br />
<strong>The</strong> schedule will be open house (from 11am to 2pm and from 7pm to 9pm). During this time visitors will be<br />
told if they approach what is carried out by AMBA, while we have a c<strong>of</strong>fee or beer... with some crisps etc.<br />
