The exhibition "...constructing memory while reconstructing
collection of an old grocery shop, which belongs to the
Museum of Architecture of the Department of Architecture of
the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Interuniversity
Postgraduate Programme 'Museology' mounted by the
students of the above programme. The exhibition aims to
show the way museologists think and act while they try to
formulate, underline and exhibit ideas behind the objects, i.e.
while they act as museologists.
The two symposia will focus on discourse in relation to
architectural, museological and ideological matters concerning
the New Acropolis Museum itself and discuss general cultural
issues of museums.
