Youth Become Savings Sleuths in April
What kid
wouldn’t want to
throw on a trench
coat, dust off an
old magnifying
glass and slap on
a play mustache
to become a
detective for a
day? Children
everywhere are intrigued by the thrill of
mysteries and the detectives that solve
them. They also have the ability
to tap into detective mode by
investigating ways to save and
becoming a credit union savings
sleuth during April at UNITED SA.
Introducing children to their inner
savings sleuth will help lead them
down the path of saving. Any member
age 17 and
younger who visits
UNITED SA in
April to personally
make a deposit
will automatically
be entered in the
National Youth
Saving Challenge.
This year’s theme,
“Savings Sleuth, Solve the Mystery, ”
shows youth and teens how UNITED
SA can help them use their own
instincts and credit union resources to
meet financial goals.
Ten young savers will be selected
nationwide to each win $100!
In addition, three lucky UNITED

Membership Meeting
The 2013 Annual Membership
Meeting was held March 7, 2013,
at the UNITED SA Headquarters
Lobby. Steve Coomes, President
& CEO, summarized the activities
and accomplishments of 2012
and discussed plans for 2013.
