Magic Jump Rentals
Dear GSG Families and Friends,
Flip Fest:
Thank you for joining us for our Flip
everyone for helping and participating
in this great event.
We hope you had a great time and
Summer Camp:
It has been so exciting to see so many of our gymnasts attending camp along with
lots of new faces! Summer Campers have been having so much fun with Water
Slide & Snow Cone Thursdays, Fort Fridays, singing our camp song and of course
doing gymnastics throughout the day. Seeing the campers jump, tumble and play
definitely earns our camp the name Fantastically Fun!
We have also been continuing our partnerships with Boys and Girls Club this year
and the scholarship program through the Burbank Coordinating Council. Theses
community programs, along with our summer camp as a whole, helps Golden State
Gymnastics to continue our mission of offering the highest quality instruction and
encouraging atmosphere to every child that walks through our doors.
This month we would like to introduce
you to:
Firecrackers:
Beach Blast Parents Night Out
The firecracker girls ROCKED it at the Flip Fest! What a fun show! With their
performance out of the way they are now returning to their regular training of
flexibility, strength, and basic skills.
Saturday, July 27th, 2013
from 6:00pm - 10:00pm
Our July "Skill of the Month" is Jumps. As you watch your budding gymnasts work
hard towards getting their skills marked off their skill card in class, you will see an
extra focus on jumps. We will jump to catch the uneven bars, we will hurdle before
we vault, we will jump up at the end of our rolls to our finish position, and we will
even amaze you as we attempt jumps on the balance beam. After all that, we will
have a little extra fun by jumping on everyone's favorite.... the trampoline!

Summer fun has been continuing for all our preschool gymnasts. After showing off
their skills in our annual Flip Fest show, they are working hard to fine tune the skills
they have and accomplish new ones. We are jumping, practicing our v-sits & candle
sticks, and rolling like champs down cheese mats! Be on the lookout, we are adding
some new classes and times to the schedule for fall.
We have been very busy working on strengthening our lunges to help us with our
handstands and have been building our arm strength as well. For our next trick?
Cartwheels! They will be coming in June and into July. Watch us as we cartwheel
our summer days away.
Please make sure to check and see if your little gymnast has to use the bathroom
before class. Thanks!
WE CARE CAMPAIGN
PARKING AND SAFETY:
Parents, please be mindful of arriving to class in time to find legal parking AND walk your child inside to get to class on time. Double
parking in front of our building is ILLEGAL and UNSAFE at all times. PLEASE remember to carefully look for children, people, and other
cars when entering and exiting the parking lot. Please respect our neighbors' requests for NO PARKING in their lots or blocking of their
driveways. Thank you for your cooperation.

LOBBY AREAS:
Please be respectful of others by supervising your children in the lobby. Screaming and running through the lobby is not acceptable
behavior. Please ask for help with the TV or water, if needed. Please inform the Front Office Staff if you will be leaving the gym during
your child's class.
ANIMALS:
Please leave your pets at home out of respect for others, especially children, who may have allergies to or fears of cats and dogs, etc.
LOST AND FOUND:
Please regularly check the lost and found bin in the TV lobby for socks, jackets, toys, etc. We try to hang on to items for a least a few
weeks before we put them in the PlanetAid.org bin in the parking lot. For smaller items like jewelry, sunglasses, cameras, or cell phones,
please check with the office.
Thank you for subscribing and feel free to provide feedback!
Gymnastically yours,
