NEW! 3B® Muscle
Fiber Model
Muscle Tissue Magnified by 10,000
A diagonal section of human skeletal muscle
fiber and its neuromuscular endplate is magnified
approximately 10,000 times on this high
quality replica. Students will study the anatomy
of human muscle fiber from a whole new perspective
with this hands-on classroom learning
tool. Size: 12.6"L x 11.9"W x 9.5H.
3B® Leg Musculature Model
Compact Depiction of Entire Limb
The 3 /4 size makes this model of a left leg easier
to handle and study. It features all the muscles,
tendons, nerves, blood vessels, and bones of the
leg and foot, and eight parts can be removed for
in-depth study. The nine-piece model is mounted
on a base, but can be removed for closer
examination. It also comes with a key identifying
91 structures. Size: 10 1 /4"L x 10 1 /4"W x 30 1 /2"H.
Ward's Muscle Types
Model Set
Three-Model Set Displays
Various Muscles
The differences between cardiac, skeletal, and
smooth muscle structures are easy to determine
when the three models in this set are
compared side by side. The cardiac muscle cell,
enlarged 1,500X, is dissected to display syncytial
fiber arrangement and Purkinje cells; the skeletal
muscle, enlarged 1,000X, shows the union
with both and tendon, and sarcolemma; and
the smooth muscle, enlarged 2,500X, exhibits
the capillary and motor end plate of the autonomic
nerve. All models are cross sectioned to
display myofibrils. Also illustrated are the associated
nerves, blood vessels, connective tissue,
cell nuclei, and nerve endings. Each model in
this set is a three-dimensional depiction of the
muscle fibers students study on microscope
slides, and each is made from durable plastic
resin for years of classroom use. The models are
mounted on individual bases. You will receive
a key for each model, allowing you to identify
a total of 40 structures. Size of each: 11"L x 4"W
x 6"H.
Musculature
Model
Economical Life-Sized
Version of Appendage
Superficial and deep muscles,
vascular structures,
nerves, and ligaments are
shown here in great detail.
This 13-part model is an ideal
visual aid for demonstrating
anatomical structure of
the human leg. removable
parts include the sartorius,
long head of biceps, gluteus
maximus, soleus, gastrocnemius,
gluteus medius,
gracilis, semitendinosus and
semimembranosus, rectus
femoris, extensor digitorum
longus, sole of the foot, and
tensor fasciae latae. Includes
a key identifying structures
and a base with stand, on
which the model is mounted.
Altay® Human Arm
Musculature Model
Economical, Life-Sized Version
of Appendage
Great detail and accurate representation outline
the the anatomical structure of the arm
in this model, complete with superficial and
deeper muscles, vascular structures, nerves,
and ligaments. Life-size in scale, the seven part
model also provides representation of the hand
and shoulder. Deltoid, bicep, tricep, long palmar
muscle with radial flexor muscle of wrist, brachioradial
muscle with radial extensor muscle
of wrist, and palmar aponeurosis are removable
for further hands-on exploration. Mounted
on base with stand, this durable arm model
includes a key identifying all structures. Size: 7
