Analyzing figures 5.6 and 5.7 is observed that the effect of the spark time scatter has higher influence on in-cylinder pressure when the ignition is made close to TDC. This could also justify the fact of lower reproducibility of pressure signal for ignition timings close to TDC as shown in the next section. 144
