occurred twice before in the play?<br />

ing. Lorenzo may be laughing because Launcelot's words are<br />
so fine sounding, or because suddenly (11. 52-55) Launcelot<br />
suits his words to his thought with such unusual, painstaking<br />
precision.<br />

the plain meaning struggled for mastery and the word woru<br />
