World Council of Chumhes:
WCC reported the following donations for the Iran Earthquakes:
Christian AID - Britain - 5,000 blankets $15,000
Cunbined donaticm of Makanisches Werk and C m A S
of 100 tents, 1,000 blankets, 1,000 air mattresses,
1,000 towels and clothing, valued at 20,000
Makonisches Werk - drug shipment 10,000
Lutheran World Federation, Finland - penicillin 10,000
Danish Interchurch - cash 3,000
National Church Council, India - cash 1,000
Norwegian Church Relief Cornnittee 10,000
In addition, WCC issued an appeal to its members for
$110,000, of which $100,000 will be used to build 3 f'ully
equipped medical clinics, and the other $10,000 to
purchase badly needed coo- equipment for the disaster
vlctinrs. CWS/WA ccntrlbuted $5,000 to this appeal,
which is credited under U. S. voluntary ~ncies.
