Aquadere ®
® is a ready-to-use cold-applied bitumen emulsion primer
(solvent free). Aquadere ® is used as cold-applied primer, to increase
adherence for bitumen-based waterproofing membranes. It’s also used as
a bituminous coating for buried walls and foundations.
Aquadere ® Stick
Installation: Aquadere or Aquadere Stick in 3 steps
Apply a sufficient quantity of Aquadère ® or Aquadère ® Stick on the surface, approximately:
0.250 l/m² to 0.350 l/m² (depending on substrate).
Aquadere ® Stick is a ready-to-use cold-applied bitumen emulsion
primer (solvent free). Aquadere ® Stick is specially used for self-adhesive
waterproofing membranes.

Surface must be clean
without rust.
Use flam if required or mechanical methods.
Product must be applied with a brush or
roller or sprayed onto dry, clean surfaces,
free of non-adhesive materials.
Metal surfaces must be degreased beforehand.
Aquadere ® or Aquadere ® stick
must be well mixed to obtain a proper
homogenization of components.
Ensure that the tools are clean and free
of any substances that may hinder the
emulsion process.
Apply the product removing air bubbles
and wrinkles with a roller or a brush.
Do not wet the surface until product
is not completely dry. Product must be dry
before applying waterproofing membranes.
Visual inspection: Aquadere ®
or Aquadere ® stick form a perfect black
film finish. The presence of brown traces
shows incomplete drying.
Approximate consumption:
On rough and absorbent substrate (i.e. concrete, wood):
5 L can covers about 20 m², 25 L can covers about 100 m².
On smooth, non-absorbent substrate (i.e. metal), the approximate
consumption may be lower.
