NEWARK—The New Jersey Stats Chamber of Commerce today estimated that New- Jer aey taxpayers will save $236,i90,- 000 through out* which Congress and the Eisenhower Admi niatiation made In appronria tioas .for the Federal fiscal year 19*5 iielow those approved for 1954. , In a box scare of Federal appropriations the New Jersey State Chamber showed that 1906 cuts 'totaled 86.9 below appropriation totals for 1654. This action brought the total reduction by Congress and the (Admtnistnatton from the 1954 amount to $64 billion. Congress took back $1,170,- 000,000 In money from other years which the Armed Services and the Foreign Operations Administration had not gotten around to spending, according to the frtate Chamber atudy. The study cited a number of spending programs that Congress voted for in spite of economy goals which both the Administration and Congress- held.
