C. Church. Surviving are: three, daughters, Mrs. Diane Hanaway, Miss Sandra -and Miss Brenda, all of Parlin; two grandchildren; and one brother, Nicholas Manas of Levittown, Long Island. Funeral services were held on Monday at 8:15 -a.m. from the Gundrum Service Home for Funerals to St. Bernadette'e R. C. Church where a high requiem Mass was offered at 9 a.m. Interment was held in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, New York. "With three years of experience using the piggyback label on IRS tax forms, there's no question of the many benefits to the taxpayer and the IRS," he said. Mr. Shotz emphasized that the IRS provides the piggyback label with the Taxpayer's name, address and Social Security nurii-" ber exactly as it appears in the IRS master file. "When returned to the IRS on the completed tax return/' Mr. Shotz said, "this label assure e the taxpayer that his account will be credited jpromptly, if other information on the form is complete and correct." -. He said that although the piggyback was designed to save the taxpayer from filling in the identity part of the tax form, the label does permit correction if necessary. If any of the information on the label is incorrect, Mr. Shotz pointed out that taxpayers should simply strike over the error and enter the correct information in the space above the strikeover. If for any reason the taxpayer, -or his tax return preparer, uses a Form 1040 other than the one containing the correct label,' he added, the top label of the piggyback can be peeled off and attached to the Identity space of the tax return filed. KING Today, the students of Hoffman High School held a memorial program In honor of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The program opened with the salute to the flag led by Miss Frances Pirk, president, of the Student Council. McDaniel of Rf. 3, Rockford, III., ^has been graduated from nine weeks of Navy bas.ic training at the Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, III. In the first weeks of his naval service he studied military subjects and lived and worked under conditions similar to those he will encounter on his first ship or at his first shore station. In making the transition from civilian life to Naval service, he received instruction under veteran Navy petty officers. He 4 studied Beamanshlp, as well aB survival techniques, military drill and other subjects. Fireman John A. Macchia, USCG, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Macchia of 46 Joyce Place, Parlin, has returned to Baltimore, Md. aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Westwlnd following three months in the Antarctic for operation "Deep Freeze *68. In addition to escorting merchant ships through phe ice, Westwind conducted oceanographic research, twice carried cargo and scientists to the outlying U. S. base on Hallett Peninsula and conducted a seal hunt for the Harvard Biological School. Operation "Deep Freeze '68*' is a coordinated effort of civilian universities, agencies and military units on an Antarctic research program.
