The central locking mechanism UNI-JET – a clever hardware solution
for tilt-turn windows of timber, PVC and aluminium
With the UNI-JET central locking mechanism suited for all window forms and frame materials,
Gretsch-Unitas offers a tilt-turn fitting system leaving no demand unfulfilled.
The basic tilt-turn feature: self-adjusting mushroom-shaped locking pin
The universal UNI-JET central locking mechanism has proven itself for many years in timber, PVC
and aluminium windows. It features the mushroom pin 'Cleverle' which cleverly adjusts to the
rebate clearance of its own accord. The result is extraordinary operating comfort. The universal
locking mechanism combines with different hinge side fitting variants, thus allowing for the use
in all types of joinery – timber, PVC and aluminium.

Efficient fabrication now also for horizontal and vertical pivot windows
In the future, this locking mechanism will also be used with horizontal and vertical pivot fittings
of the type UNITAS. Window fabricators no longer have to store different fitting systems and are
enabled to get on with a reduced variety of fitting components. Besides offering the drilling and
positioning jigs required for efficient window fabrication, Gretsch-Unitas also make available
hardware data for all customary job engineering programmes.

Guaranteed security
In their research and development work, Gretsch-Unitas put great emphasis on intelligent technology,
quality, design, and operating and living comfort. Developed with customer and market
requirements in mind, the central locking mechanism UNI-JET comes in resistance grades from
'basic security' through to 'WK2', thus meeting any demands in terms of security.

Gretsch-Unitas – More than just products.
Individual composition of hardware components and ordering is done by means of the Gretsch-
Unitas Order Catalogue which has been appreciated by customers for years, or very comfortably
by means of the web-based confiGUrator programme. With this tool it is possible to generate orders
based on up-to-date prices and conditions directly at the Gretsch-Unitas centre of distribution.
For optimising process sequences, further electronic planning and ordering systems are
made available to customers.
