The School <strong>of</strong> Applied <strong>Technology</strong> <strong>of</strong>fers technologyoriented<br />
training and education for working pr<strong>of</strong>essionals.<br />
Courses are taught by IIT pr<strong>of</strong>essors and industry<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>essionals with significant working, teaching, and research<br />
experience in their fields. The IIT School <strong>of</strong> Applied<br />
<strong>Technology</strong> <strong>of</strong>fers education and training in a wide variety<br />
<strong>of</strong> formats including degree, non-degree, certificate, credit,<br />
and non-credit programs; corporate training; short courses;<br />
and seminars ranging from a few hours to several days in<br />
length. Completion <strong>of</strong> all IIT School <strong>of</strong> Applied <strong>Technology</strong><br />
non-credit courses will result in the assignment <strong>of</strong><br />
Continuing Education Units (CEU) fully accredited by the<br />
International Association for Continuing Education and<br />
Training (IACET).<br />
The IIT School <strong>of</strong> Applied <strong>Technology</strong> <strong>of</strong>fers undergraduate<br />
degree programs in Information <strong>Technology</strong> and Management<br />
and Industrial <strong>Technology</strong> and Management; graduate<br />
programs in Information <strong>Technology</strong> and Management,<br />
Cyber Forensics and Security, and Industrial <strong>Technology</strong><br />
and Operations; an undergraduate certificate in Manufacturing<br />
<strong>Technology</strong> and Management; graduate certificates<br />
in a variety <strong>of</strong> topic areas in information technology; Pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />
Engineer (PE)/ Engineering Intern (EI) Review<br />
courses and continuing education courses for Pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />
Engineers; educational programs for international students<br />
with integrated English as a Second Language (ESL) training;<br />
and a wide variety <strong>of</strong> non-credit semester-length and<br />
short courses in all disciplines. Through IIT Online, the<br />
IIT School <strong>of</strong> Applied <strong>Technology</strong> markets and manages<br />
online delivery <strong>of</strong> IIT degree and non-degree educational<br />
<strong>of</strong>ferings in all disciplines.<br />

The Stuart School <strong>of</strong> Business was established in 1969<br />
with a gift from IIT alumnus and Chicago financier Harold<br />
Leonard Stuart. The School places an emphasis on the relation<br />
between business and technology and cross-disciplinary<br />
education. Stuart <strong>of</strong>fers an AACSB-accredited undergraduate<br />
program – the Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science in Business Administration.<br />
Its graduate programs include the Master<br />
<strong>of</strong> Business Administration (M.B.A.), Master <strong>of</strong> Science in<br />
Environmental Management and Sustainability, Master <strong>of</strong><br />
Science in Finance, Master <strong>of</strong> Science in Marketing Communications,<br />
a J.D./M.B.A., and an M.S. Design/M.B.A.<br />
The School houses the Center for Financial Markets, the<br />
Center for Strategic Competitiveness, the Center for Sustainable<br />
Enterprise, and the Center for Management <strong>of</strong><br />
