Graham Resource Center<br />

Housed in Crown Hall, the Graham Resource Center (GRC)<br />
is IIT’s architecture library, serving students and faculty <strong>of</strong><br />
the College <strong>of</strong> Architecture (COA), and a branch <strong>of</strong> Paul<br />
V. Galvin Library. The GRC supports the educational and<br />
curricular goals <strong>of</strong> the COA by acquiring, preserving, and<br />
serving materials in various media to COA students, faculty,<br />
and staff; providing reference and research assistance<br />
to patrons about architecture, landscape architecture, and<br />
city planning, and <strong>of</strong>fering bibliographic instruction to all<br />
GRC and architecture researchers and users.<br />
The collections <strong>of</strong> the Graham Resource Center includes<br />
more than 15,000 books, 40 journal titles, and many electronic<br />
resources to meet research and reference needs. The<br />
GRC also holds special collections focused on Mies van<br />
der Rohe and Chicago architecture, as well as a circulating<br />
collection <strong>of</strong> iconic chairs.<br />

Louis W. Biegler Library<br />

The Louis W. Biegler Library, a branch located at the Rice<br />
Campus in Wheaton, provides access to a circulating collection,<br />
reserve materials, and journals, as well as access to<br />
digital resources. Services for distance learners are coordinated<br />
at Biegler, and include interlibrary loan, web-based<br />
document delivery, research and reference consultations,<br />
and library instruction.<br />

Center for the Study <strong>of</strong> Ethics in the Pr<strong>of</strong>essions<br />

The Center, located in Hermann Hall, contains a variety <strong>of</strong><br />
materials dealing with topics in practical and pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />
ethics, such as autonomy, confidentiality, conflict <strong>of</strong> interest,<br />
and self regulation. The library provides bibliographic<br />
assistance to students and researchers and assists visiting<br />
scholars and practitioners.<br />

Downtown Campus Library<br />

Serving Chicago-Kent College <strong>of</strong> Law and IIT’s graduate<br />
Business program, the Downtown Campus Library (DTC)<br />
also includes an extensive collection <strong>of</strong> U.S. Government,<br />
United Nations, and European Union documents. The<br />
DTC library provides access to digital resources, as well<br />
as services such as reference, instruction, and interlibrary<br />
loan.<br />

<strong>Institute</strong> for Food Safety and Health Library<br />

Located on IIT’s M<strong>of</strong>fett Campus in Bedford Park, the <strong>Institute</strong><br />
for Food Safety and Health (IFSH) branch library<br />
supports research on food technology and food safety. A<br />
depository library for the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization<br />
<strong>of</strong> the United Nations), the library provides<br />
digital access to all <strong>of</strong> the Galvin Library databases, as<br />
well as services such as interlibrary loan, web-based document<br />
delivery, and library instruction.<br />
