66616 on the 4Z61 Tilbury - West Burton
Cemex Fly Ash Tanks passed Tempsford
between Sandy and St Neots at 08.30.
Ex-DRS 66418 headed eastbound on the
Didcot avoiding line at 19.37.
December 2
The NR measurement train was seen at
Norwich at 14.07 with 43013 leading 43062.
The run was supposed to go on to Manningtree,
Harwich and elsewhere but due to a points
failure on the Bury – Stowmarket stretch and a
freight failure south of Ipswich the train ran to
Ipswich then Norwich and back via Ipswich to
Derby (photo below from Stuart Moore).

GBRf 73205 passed through Tonbridge with
three bolsters whilst 73213 + 1001 were waiting
to depart from the West Yard on ‘The Old
Curiosity Mystery Tour’ (see report elsewhere).

around 10.40 looking and sounding good this
morning heading north on an engineer’s train.

90043 failed at Ipswich a while back (believed
to be a traction motor issue). It was dragged
from Ipswich Yard to Ipswich Griffin Wharf by
66540 and then onto an Allelys low loader.
390055 passed Preston at 15.38 on a Carnforth
- Edge hill ecs move.

90024 + 92001 + 90039 dead in tow passed
through at Rugby at 19.14 on 6L48 Garston –
Dagenham.
66423 working a late running Daventry - Ripple
Lane Sugarliner & Tesco's Less CO2, passed
Barking at 16.01.

92001 on the 6L48 Garston - Dagenham Dock
cartics passed Barking eastbound at 22.47.
37087 t&t 37667 on the 3S10 Stowmarket -
Shenfield RHTT arrived at Ipswich at 19.52,
departing 2 mins later.
66305 arrived at Carlisle at 18.54 and departed
3 mins later southbound on the Coatbridge -
Daventry intermodal.
37516 arrived at Carlisle at 17.25 and departed
at 18.02 heading north working Carnforth -
Mossend light engine move

through Tonbridge at 10.12 heading to St
Leonards.
66071 t&t 67028 was seen standing in the Up
Platform at Hitchin waiting to head towards
Royston at 08.21.
