The diagram shows the different heat losses<br />

of the manifold to the mould of in one case<br />

supported by 4 iron spacers and in the other<br />

with 4 ceramic spacers of same dimensions .<br />

In our case the contact surface of the spacers<br />

was 450 mm 2 .<br />

The result shows a difference of 0,33Wh/<br />

mm 2 between steel and ceramics. Ceramics<br />

save 0,33Wh for every mm 2 of contact surface<br />

as respects to steel each working hour.<br />

Example:<br />

our ceramic spacers KE0200305 (surface=490<br />

mm 2 ) save approx. 160 Wh when<br />

compared with steel.<br />

Summerising:<br />

• remarkable energy saving.<br />

• less heat loss in mould means less work<br />

for your chiller.<br />

keramik<br />

Diagrammet visar skillnader i värmeförlust<br />

från varmkanalbalk till fästplatta. Jämförelsen<br />

bygger på, i ena fallet 4 stödkutsar i stål och<br />

i andra fallet 4 stödkutsar i keramik i samma<br />

dimensioner.<br />

Kontaktytan var 450 mm 2 .<br />

Resultatet visar en skillnad av 0,33 Wh/mm 2<br />

mellan stål och keramik, där keramiken alltså<br />

sparar 0,33 Wh för varje mm 2 av kontaktytan<br />

jämfört med stål.<br />

Ett exempel:<br />

Vår KE0200305 (kontaktyta=490 mm 2 ) sparar<br />

ungefär 160 Wh jämfört med stål.<br />

Summering:<br />

• Påtaglig energibesparing<br />

• Mindre värmeförlust till verktyget kräver<br />

mindre kylning.<br />
