Hi, my name is Amanda Butler. My horse, Triply Johnsson, and I<br />
started showing at HABHA in 2006. We loved being with all of<br />
you and I am excited to be showing with you all again in 2007. I<br />
will be the youth representative next year, and I am really<br />
looking forward to it.<br />
Many thanks to everyone who made this such a fun place to<br />
show. Any time "TJ" and I needed help you all were right there.<br />
I would really like to see more youth participate in this<br />
show. If you know of any who might be interested, please let me<br />
know so I can personally invite them.<br />

The showbill has been updated on the web<br />
site to include those judges who have committed to<br />
our 2007 show season. You'll see some new<br />
names from Arizona and New Mexico as well some<br />
of our favorites from Iowa. There are still a few<br />
dates yet to fill. I hope to have those done soon<br />
and will update the showbill accordingly.<br />
Entry forms and show/year end award rules<br />
are also available on the website.<br />
Thanks so much to the stallion & mare<br />
owners who are taking advantage of our Stallion<br />
Service Sale. Thanks also to Shelly & Kristi<br />
Hartzell and Heather Gallo for their promotion of<br />
the sale, and our shows, through various online<br />
forums and message boards.<br />
If you are a stallion owner it's not too late<br />
to get involved. If you are a mare owner you<br />
really need to take a look at the stallions available.<br />
We have a nice selection of colors and bloodlines,<br />
whether you're interested in halter, pleasure or<br />
working horses. This is a wonderful opportunity to<br />
take advantage of the half-price fees. All of the<br />
money from those stallions which sell will be paid<br />
back to the futurity and jackpot exhibitors and to<br />
the stallion owners. Thanks to Rob Rima for his<br />
formulation of a payback plan.<br />
On the following pages you can see the list of<br />
nice stallions we are offering. If you are interested<br />
in any of them you can see more on our website.<br />
Each horse is linked to their own web page with<br />
an email link to the owners.<br />
The show committee had planned to meet<br />
at Lucky J Arena in earlier this month. That<br />
meeting was cancelled due to a severe winter<br />
storm which blew into the area dumping up to<br />
three inches of rain, freezing rain and ice<br />
followed by about ten inches of wet snow. I<br />
know of a number of area buildings which<br />
collapsed under the weight. We sure needed the<br />
moisture but that was a little more than we'd<br />
hoped for. I hope none of you experienced<br />
damage from the storm.<br />
We will have a show committee meeting<br />
after the holidays so, if you have any ideas,<br />
please let us know soon. Since we are moving to<br />
our new home at Lucky J we want to insure that<br />
the shows run smoothly from the get go and we<br />
don't want to overlook even the smallest detail.<br />
I know of several folks who are already<br />
working with their soon-to-be yearlings for the<br />
2007 Triple Challenge. So, if you plan on<br />
competing for the ABRA and/or ALL-BREED titles<br />
you'd better get to work. I anticipate some very<br />
stiff competition from the youngsters.<br />
All of our 2006 Year End Award winners<br />
will be listed in the next newsletter in late<br />
January.<br />

total in sponsors for our club will receive a one-hundred dollar bill. The sooner you get your<br />
sponsors in the sooner they can be included during 2007 on the web site and in the newsletter as<br />
well as being displayed at the shows. Be sure to put your name on the sponsor form when you send<br />
