The Town Board of Frederick
met on Nov. 7, 2011 at the Community
Center at 7p.m. Present
were board members Tom
mMyer, Dennis Kinslow, Scott
Campbell, finance officer Max
Kinslow. Patrons present were
Jim Dumire, Georgia Smith and
Craig Larson.
The meeting was called to
order by Chr. Kinslow. Minutes of
the Oct. meeting were reviewed,
motion by Meyer/Kinslow to
approve, motion carried. the
financial report of Oct. was
reviewed, motion by Campbell/Meyer
to approve, motion
carried. Accounts Payable for
Nov. were reviewed, motion by
Meyer/Campbell to pay all bills,

OLD BUSINESS:
UTILITIES- The bentonite has
now been put into holes near the
lagoon to prevent ground seepage
into the lagoon.The board
discussed some streets that
need to be repaired due to settling,
no action taken.Electrical
work should be getting done this
month at the Community Center
and then cabinets installed.
Historical Society- the water
can be shut off in Dec. after the
last planned activity at the hall.
Frederick Forward- Georgia
Smith brought the board up
to date on activities they have
sponsored or taken part in.
Frederick can be included in a
meeting to be held in Aberdeen
regarding the 1000 jobs project.
No one appeared for the
Library.
NEW BUSINESS:
Liq. Lic. approval for 2012-
there are no changes to the
operating agreements for the
Titan Cafe or Community Store
prior to license renewal with the
state. Motion by Meyer/Campbell
to renew the city’s liquor license
and operating agreements with
both parties, motion carried.
Public Notices- last month a
patron asked for minutes from
the meetings. Legals(minutes)
are posted for the public’s convenience
at www.397news.com.
Resignation- the current finance
officer presented the
board with her resignation for
personal reason’s. The board
thanked her for her service.
Motion by Meyer/Campbell to accept
resignation with the request
to train the new person.For the
present time the finance office
will remain in the same location,
however the office will be moved
elsewhere when the job is filled.
Craig Larson- presented the
board with quotes for supposed
damage to the vehicles moved
from their property. The information
will be turned over to
the insurance company and an
attorney for opinion. He also
mentioned he felt they had been
singled out since there are other
places around town that need to
be cleaned up as well and had
they been notified. Dependiong
on severity of violation and
number of complaints is the determination
for sending a letter
of complaint to a property owner.
The board told him they were not
singled out, the board explained
the complaint process.
Main Street Station- Jim Dumire
asked the board if he would
be able to bounce the GPS installed
on the fuel tanks from the
phone at the library. This system
measures the fill level of the fuel
tanks as he is now getting delivery
of fuel. Motion by Campbell/
Meyer to approve this use of the
phone signal, motion carried.
There was no correspondence

in the Commissioner’s Chambers,
Courthouse Annex, Brown

Government Day sponsored
by the American Legion. The
students toured County Departments,
