c. GHQ Reserve Artillery<br />
WEAPONS, OBSTACLES, AND VEHICLES -7<br />
A considerable amount of artillery, including numerous types<br />
for special purposes, is under the control of the GHQ reserve, and<br />
is allotted to lower echelons according to their estimated needs.<br />
Special types of units include assault-gun battalions and independent<br />
assault-gun batteries; motorized <strong>Army</strong> antiaircraft artillery<br />
battalions; <strong>Army</strong> coast artillery battalions and railway artillery<br />
battalions.<br />
Two of the more common GHQ artillery weapons are the following:<br />

d. Antiaircraft Guns<br />
Although antiaircraft defense is primarily under the <strong>German</strong> Air<br />
Force (Luftwaffe), certain antiaircraft units are -in the GHQ reserve,<br />
and some divisions have organic antiaircraft defense. <strong>The</strong><br />
