<strong>The</strong> standard <strong>German</strong> infantry howitzers are the 75-mm light<br />
infantry howitzer, model 18 (7.5 cm leichtes Infanterie-Geschiitz<br />
18), and the 150-mm heavy infantry howitzer, model 33 (15 cm<br />
schweres Infanteric-Geschiitz 33). (See fig. 27.)<br />

<strong>The</strong>re are six light and two heavy howitzers in the howitzer<br />
(13th) company of the <strong>German</strong>-infantry regiment. <strong>The</strong> light<br />
howitzer was introduced in 1934 and the heavy howitzer in 1938.<br />
<strong>The</strong>se models have continued in use without substantial change<br />
