d) Fishery Subsector
Fishery production in El Salvador has increased as a result of the growth in industrial fishing and aquaculture,
which has allowed the country to export tilapia fillets.
Due to the storms, for several days fishing could not be carried out, and thus artisanal and industrial
fishing were affected. On the one hand, capture and production were reduced, and on the other hand,
infrastructure suffered damages.
