Parking<br />

Where can I park?<br />

There are over 20,000 parking spaces located adjacent to the Stadium at Sportsman’s<br />

Park or within walking distance at Westgate. Pre-paid parking passes for these lots<br />

are available from the <strong>Fiesta</strong> <strong>Bowl</strong> Ticket Office (480-350-0911 or 800-635-5748) or<br />

CLICK HERE to purchase on-line.<br />

Rates are as follows:<br />

Personal vehicles in surface lots $30<br />

Garage spaces $60<br />

RV passes $150<br />

Buses $250<br />

Limos $90<br />

There is no oversized vehicle overflow parking, therefore, all RVs and tour buses must<br />

have a pre-paid pass and must park in designated lots only.<br />

A limited number <strong>of</strong> pay-at-the-gate parking spaces are available <strong>of</strong>f-site in the Brown<br />

Lot (southeast corner <strong>of</strong> 91 st Avenue and Orangewood Avenue). These spaces are $30.<br />

A free shuttle will run on the day <strong>of</strong> the game between the Brown Lot and the stadium<br />

starting at 11:30 AM and ending one hour following the game.<br />

I have a disabled parking permit, where do I park?<br />

There are disabled parking spaces reserved in each game parking lot. Please contact the<br />

<strong>Fiesta</strong> <strong>Bowl</strong> ticket <strong>of</strong>fice (480-350-0911 or 800-635-5748) for more information on<br />

passes.<br />

I am arriving by limo, where can I be dropped-<strong>of</strong>f/picked-up?


Limo parking is located in Westgate west <strong>of</strong> 93 rd Avenue between Coyotes Boulevard<br />

and Hanna Lane. Limo passes are $90 and are one-time-in/one-time-out. Limos should<br />

access this parking area via 91 st Avenue and Coyotes Boulevard and follow the<br />

directional signs. Please contact the <strong>Fiesta</strong> <strong>Bowl</strong> ticket <strong>of</strong>fice (480-350-0911 or 800-635-<br />

5748) for more information on passes.<br />

I am arriving by Taxi, where can I be dropped-<strong>of</strong>f/picked-up?<br />

Taxi and general pick-up/drop-<strong>of</strong>f is located in the western part <strong>of</strong> Westgate west <strong>of</strong> 95 th<br />

Avenue, south <strong>of</strong> Coyotes Boulevard. Access to the loading/unloading area is <strong>of</strong>f <strong>of</strong> 95 th<br />

Avenue at <strong>Glendale</strong> Avenue. Drivers should follow the directional signs.<br />

I am an employee, where do I park?<br />

Staff and volunteer parking is at Cricket Pavilion just north <strong>of</strong> I-10 between 75 th Avenue<br />

and 79 th Avenue. A shuttle to the stadium will be provided.<br />

Can I park my RV overnight?<br />

There is no overnight parking permitted at any game parking lots. Please contact local<br />

RV parks for additional information and availability.<br />

What time do parking lots open?<br />

Parking lots open at 9:30 AM on the day <strong>of</strong> the game and will close one hour following<br />

the game.<br />

Can I park in the neighborhood?<br />

Parking in the neighborhoods is restricted to residents and their guests. Residents should<br />

follow normal procedures for access to the neighborhood (display neighborhood placard)<br />

as well as notifying the city <strong>of</strong> their guests.<br />

Driving Directions<br />

Where is the stadium located?<br />

University <strong>of</strong> Phoenix Stadium is located in western <strong>Glendale</strong> along Loop 101 (Agua Fria<br />

Freeway) between Bethany Home Road and <strong>Glendale</strong> Avenue.<br />

How do I get to the stadium?<br />

Following are general directions from the various parts <strong>of</strong> the valley. Specific directions<br />

to each lot are available on the <strong>Glendale</strong>’s Got Game web site<br />

(www.glendalesgotgame.com) and on the back <strong>of</strong> your parking pass.<br />

Southeast Valley<br />

Travel west on I-10 through downtown Phoenix to Loop 101 North. Follow the message<br />

signs on the freeway and surface streets for stadium exit and routing information based<br />

on the color <strong>of</strong> your parking pass.<br />

Central Scottsdale<br />

Travel south on Loop 101 to westbound Loop 202. Continue west on I-10 through<br />

downtown Phoenix to Loop 101 North. Follow the message signs on the freeway and<br />

surface streets for stadium exit and routing information based on the color <strong>of</strong> your<br />

parking pass.<br />

Northeast Scottsdale<br />

Travel west on Loop 101 past I-17 and continue south on Loop 101. Follow the message<br />

signs on the freeway and surface streets for stadium exit and routing information based<br />

on the color <strong>of</strong> your parking pass.<br />

North Phoenix<br />

Travel south on I-17 to Loop 101 west and continue south on Loop 101. Follow the<br />

message signs on the freeway and surface streets for stadium exit and routing information<br />

based on the color <strong>of</strong> your parking pass.<br />

Central Phoenix<br />

Travel west on Olive, Northern or <strong>Glendale</strong> avenues to 91 st Avenue and go south. Follow<br />

the message signs on the surface streets for stadium routing information based on the<br />

color <strong>of</strong> your parking pass.<br />

Northwest Valley<br />

Travel south on Loop 101. Follow the message signs on the freeway and surface streets<br />

for stadium exit and routing information based on the color <strong>of</strong> your parking pass.<br />

Southwest Valley<br />

Travel east on I-10 to Loop 101 North. Follow the message signs on the freeway and<br />

surface streets for stadium exit and routing information based on the color <strong>of</strong> your<br />

parking pass.<br />

Are there any traffic restrictions I need to be aware <strong>of</strong>?<br />

Fans should know:<br />

o There are currently no on/<strong>of</strong>f-ramps to the north at Loop 101 and Bethany Home<br />

Road.<br />

o Maryland Avenue between 93 rd Avenue and 95 th Avenue will be closed to all<br />

traffic except pedestrians and limited shuttle operations.<br />

o 95 th Avenue in front <strong>of</strong> the stadium will be closed to all traffic except pedestrians.<br />

o Northbound 95 th Avenue from Maryland Avenue to Coyotes Boulevard will be<br />

closed to all traffic except pedestrians.<br />

Do you have any general traffic tips?<br />

Fans should know:<br />

o Arrive early and follow the direction <strong>of</strong> traffic <strong>of</strong>ficers.<br />

o The center turn lane on 91 st Avenue between Camelback Road and the stadium<br />

operates as a reversible lane. It carries inbound traffic before the game and<br />

outbound traffic following the game.<br />

o The Stadium Access Road (6250 N) carries three lanes into the parking lots<br />

before the game and four lanes out <strong>of</strong> the parking lots following the game.<br />

o Maryland Avenue between 95 th Avenue and 99 th Avenue carries four lanes<br />

outbound following the game.<br />

o Follow all traffic signs. In some cases there are multiple turn lanes (dual rights or<br />

dual lefts) that will allow traffic to load and unload parking lots faster.<br />

o Vehicles may be subject to search. Please plan accordingly.<br />

Security<br />

If I have an emergency, how should I contact help?<br />

Emergency assistance can be obtained from any uniformed <strong>of</strong>ficer or by calling 911.<br />

If I need the police for a non-emergency, how should I contact them?<br />

Uniformed police <strong>of</strong>ficers will be inside and outside the stadium and at all gates. If you<br />

need assistance and cannot locate a uniformed police <strong>of</strong>ficer, you may reach <strong>Glendale</strong><br />

police dispatch at 623-930-3000.<br />

If I have a carry/conceal weapon (CCW) permit, will I be allowed to carry my<br />

concealed firearm in the stadium with me?<br />

No weapons <strong>of</strong> any kind will be permitted inside the stadium, even with a permit.<br />

What items are prohibited in the stadium?<br />

There will be bag searches upon entrance to the Stadium. In accordance with Stadium<br />

policies, bags larger than 12” x 12” x 12” will not be permitted. Random pat-downs will<br />

be issued at the gate.<br />

The following items will not be permitted inside the Stadium:<br />

- Aerosol cans<br />

- Alcohol<br />

- Animals (special needs excluded)<br />

- Banners or signs larger than 3’ x 2’<br />

- Limit <strong>of</strong> one (1) sealed, non-frozen bottle <strong>of</strong> water, 500 ml or less, per person. No other<br />

Bottles, cans or thermos bottles will be permitted.<br />

- Brooms<br />

- Cameras with detachable lens<br />

- Clothing deemed obscene or indecent<br />

- Coolers <strong>of</strong> any kind<br />

- Fireworks<br />

- Folding chairs<br />

- Food<br />

- Footballs and beach balls<br />

- Illegal drugs<br />

Consumption <strong>of</strong> alcoholic beverages is legal only in designated tailgating areas and<br />

specific events sponsored by the <strong>Bowl</strong>.<br />

What can I do in <strong>Glendale</strong> during my stay?<br />

Historic Downtown <strong>Glendale</strong> has been named by USA Today & Sunset Magazine as one<br />

What Time Zone is Arizona in?<br />

The state <strong>of</strong> Arizona is located in the Mountain Standard Time Zone (MST). Arizona is<br />

one <strong>of</strong> only two U.S. states that does not make an adjustment for Daylight Savings Time,<br />
