eligibility ... The Calgary native played at Harvard for<br />

three seasons before missing the entire 2010 season to<br />

injury ... He joins the Blue Devils with 21 goals and<br />

14 assists for 35 points in 33 career games with the<br />

Crimson ... He is pursing a Master of Management<br />

Studies degree from the <strong>Duke</strong> Fuqua School of<br />

Protecting The Crease<br />

The Blue Devil defensive unit will feature a few new<br />

faces in <strong>2011</strong> ... Senior Tom Montelli will move to<br />

close defense along with sophomore Bill Conners and<br />

freshman Chris Hipps ... Montelli played in the long<br />

stick midfield role the past two years, while Conners<br />

was a big part of the man-down defense as a rookie<br />

... Hipps enters his freshman season after a stellar<br />

scholastic career in Texas ... Junior CJ Costabile and<br />

Luke Duprey will play up top as longstick midfielders<br />

... The spot between the pipes will be a battle between<br />

goalkeepers Mike Rock and Dan Wigrizer.<br />

In The Midfield<br />

<strong>Duke</strong> returns a lot of talent in the midfield this season<br />

... A variety of combinations have the potential to<br />

run on the top line ... Justin Turri, Robert Rotanz,<br />

Jake Tripucka and David Lawson all come back as<br />

top players for the Blue Devils ... Turri and Rotanz<br />

combined for 40 points in 2010, while Tripucka and<br />

Lawson were major parts of the defensive midfield ...<br />

Freshman Jordan Wolf also could see time on the top<br />

midfield line as he enters collegiate lacrosse as a major<br />

scoring threat ... Terrence Molinari returns for his<br />

final season to anchor the defensive midfield and to<br />

help with faceoff duties ... Sophomore Greg DeLuca<br />

also will bolster the midfield line and faceoff midfield<br />

along with senior Brandon Allen.<br />
