Nihat Sandıkcıoğlu is born in 1955 and graduate of TED Ankara<br />

College and M.E.T.U. Faculty of Adm.Sc. Management Dept. He<br />

started his business career in PUFLA Textiles as founder partner and<br />

GM. His professional career has started as CAPITOL SC. GM in 1992.<br />

Consequently he worked as Sales Mng.in PFI Uzay Gida, GM in KOSAŞ<br />

Residential Services, GM in Migros Beylikdüzü SC, Director of Cons.&<br />

RE Dept. and Director of Gen. Admin. & Proc. Dept. in TURKCELL,<br />

Board Member and GM in Service Group and Viya Group and GM in<br />

Tepe Nautilus SC. After his occupation as Dir.of SC Mang. in Krea RE, in<br />

Feb.2009 he joined AYD as Secretary General.<br />

Nuri Şapkacı, Deputy General Manager of ECE Türkiye Proje Yönetimi<br />

A.Ş. joined the company in 2006. ECE Group is an investor and a<br />

service provider company of a wide range of projects including<br />

shopping centers, offices, traffic and industrial buildings among<br />

others. ECE is active in 16 countries, has a current construction<br />

and planning volume of € 4 billion, manages 185 SC on 6 million<br />

sqm sales area. ECE Türkiye - the Turkish subsidiary of ECE Group,<br />

established in 2000 - is developing, planning, realizing, leasing<br />

out and managing large-scale shopping center projects in Turkey.<br />

The company currently operates 11 SC and has projects under<br />

development and/or construction stage in different cities.<br />

K. Rahmi Sarıcı born in İzmir in 1973, graduated from İzmir Türk<br />

College German Language Division and completed his bachelor’s<br />

degree in Dokuz Eylül University Architecture Faculty City Planing<br />

Division. Sarıcı joined Ferko in 2012 as Property and Business<br />

Development Coordinator after 8 years at Tesco Kipa as Property<br />

Acquisition Manager. Before that he worked at Soobe, Gima T.A.Ş and<br />

Gemini- Area as Expansion Executive. He worked on several and each<br />

scale shopping centre, stand- alone hypermarket, logistic centre and<br />

shopping unit developments.<br />

Lawyer Horst Schaffer, born in 1949, began his professional career<br />

with the hotel group Accor Germany. In 1993, he contributed<br />

as a member of the management team of Dieter Müller to the<br />

development of the German hotel chain Astron, which was sold in<br />

2002 with 54 hotels and over 8,000 rooms to the Spanish hotel group<br />

NH Hoteles. Since then, Horst Schaffer supported the development<br />

of the low-budget design hotel chain Motel One. In his position as<br />

Head of Legal and Managing Director of the Motel One GmbH, he is<br />

responsible for the strategic expansion in Europe.<br />

SHCA is an international design-led firm,<br />

founded in New York in 1906, established in<br />

London in 1986 and in Istanbul in 1995.<br />

Burcu joined SHCA in 2008 as Practice Director and is now GM for<br />

SHCA Istanbul. Before SHCA, Burcu worked in Dogus Yapi Const. Co.<br />

from 1996 till 2005. Now in SHCA her role is to uphold management<br />

standards for all projects and to ensure that the technical direction of<br />

the projects are of a standard consistent with the London Office and<br />

overall practice standards. Working in partnership with the Principle<br />

for Architecture and Technical Director to provide leadership, high<br />

quality design and delivery solutions to ensure that the client, design,<br />

programme and budge y requirements are achieved and to<br />

contribute to the full range of clients’ needs from feasibility studies<br />

and strategic analysis to implementation.<br />

Mr. Shanok is responsible for Tishman Speyer’s activities in Turkey.<br />

Prior to this role, Mr. Shanok directed new investments, managed<br />

dispositions and coordinated capital-raising for Brazil. Previously,<br />

Mr. Shanok was the Portfolio Manager for the firm’s Brazilian<br />

investments, defining and executing asset-level strategies and<br />

structuring new investment funds for the country. Mr. Shanok joined<br />

Tishman Speyer in 2005 and underwrote acquisitions in Boston,<br />

Chicago and Washington, D.C. and assisted with the formation of the<br />

Tishman Speyer China Fund. Mr. Shanok received a BS in economics<br />

from Syracuse University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of<br />

Management at Northwestern University.
