Selim Çakır joined Turkish Economy Bank in 2008 as Chief Economist.
Mr. Çakır is also responsible for the coverage of Turkey and GCC
research for BNP Paribas Fixed-Income Group. During a tenure of 10
years, Mr. Çakır held various positions at the International Monetary
Fund where he worked on Middle East and transition economies in
Central Asia. Mr. Çakır represented the government of Turkey in the
Executive Board of the IMF between 1999 and 2003, and had an active
role in the design of the government of Turkey’s economic program.
Glenn is the Chairman of Forum Turkey Fund. He acted as the CEO
of Multi Corporation between 2007 and 2011. Before that he was
MD of Morgan Stanley Real Estate,where he headed European asset
management and was directly responsible for Morgan Stanley’s
investment in Multi Corporation.From 1998-2001 he completed
the restructuring of Credit Suisse First Boston RE operations in
Europe,overseeing the disposition of $2.0 bn portfolio of earlier
investments.He started his professional RE career in 1978 acquiring
and operating multifamily residential throughout the southeast U.S.
He also spent a number of years working for the U.S. government in
their effort to address RE coming out of the domestic savings and
loan crisis in the early 1990’s.

industry and specialized on M&A, Hedge Funds and Corporate
Finance. He was shareholder and General Director of Yibitas Holding’s
foreign joint-ventures including Lafarge Cement and Dyckerhoff
RMC in Turkey. He holds a BA, MBA specializing in Management
& Organisation, PhD in Accounting& Finance and is the Acting
Chairman of the philantropic Erdogan Akdag Educational Foundation.

Ali Rıza Aksöyek is the Real Estate Development & Coordination
Group Manager of Koray Construction Company, one of the leading
construction and development companies of Turkey founded in
1956. After joining Koray Group, in 2004, Aksöyek had opportunities
to work in several key positions of the company. Currently, he is
managing all development activities and coordinating the projects of
the Real Estate Group. Aksöyek holds B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering
and M.Sc. Degree in Construction Management from Istanbul
Technical University and he is a member of Urban Land Institute.
Khaled Al Muhairy is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of
Evolvence Capital, a Dubai headquartered alternative investment
company with assets of more than US$ one billion under
management. He has overall management responsibility for all
Evolvence Capital activities with a primary focus on strategic
direction, business development, and investor and regulatory
relations. He has extensive capital raising and investment experience
and holds operational management and board mandates of various
Evolvence Capital initiatives. Prior to founding Evolvence Capital in
2000, he headed the North America department of the Abu Dhabi
Investment Authority (ADIA). He holds a B.Sc in Finance from Saint
Louis University, Missouri, USA.
