7. Customer support.<br />

7.1 PST coding system.<br />

• The PST coding system is a new way<br />

• to configure Gerapid according to customer needs. It<br />

has been released in 2008 and it’s not related with<br />

any previous ordering forms.<br />

• This code consists of 20 digits. Every digit means certain<br />

rated value or component that might be installed<br />

in the breaker.<br />

• Table 7 shows all available values, components and<br />

accessories for the Gerapid breaker family. Most of<br />

them are describe in section 3 of this manual. Please<br />

contact GE Sales representative in case of any questions.<br />

• This system is valid for Gerapid line feeder type (F),<br />

rectifier type (R) and disconnector type (DS). However<br />

this instruction relates only to standard, line feeder<br />

type.<br />

• Not all of the configurations are possible to order. Using<br />

the electronic version of the Ordering Form, avoid<br />

a wrong configuration selection.<br />

• This Excel ® based tool enable in fast and mistake<br />

proof manner to generate PST code and Ordering<br />

Form. Ask your GE Representative details. The number<br />

of this tool is: APN460437.<br />
