Technology Leader<br />
Support Services, Human Resources (SSHR) continued<br />
Goal: TL-SSHR-4 Create easy online access to virtual learning opportunities and training<br />
records for employees.<br />
Outcome: Time and money saved by online education. Ease <strong>of</strong> access increases likelihood for<br />
more courses taken and quality <strong>of</strong> work improved.<br />
Action: Implement a learning management system that includes virtual on-demand training.<br />
Evaluate the cost/benefit <strong>of</strong> any suggested changes.<br />
Measure: Increase number <strong>of</strong> employees improving their talent through education and savings<br />
accrued and reported.<br />
Support Services, Technology Services (SSTS)<br />
Goal: TL-SSTS-1 Automate Agenda Management System in the Clerk‟s Office.<br />
Outcome: Improved services to Council and the public.<br />
Action: Identify specific needs and savings potential. Conduct an RFP and select vendor and<br />
install.<br />
Measure: Identify and report service improvements and savings accrued.<br />
Goal: TL-SSTS-2 Consolidate printer devices to reduce overall printing costs.<br />
Outcome: Reduced maintenance and toner expenses.<br />
Action: Complete inventory <strong>of</strong> all equipment. Propose a plan to consolidate, including<br />
expected operating efficiencies and service effectiveness.<br />
Measure: Identify and report service improvements and savings accrued.<br />
Goal: TL-SSTS-3 Court management system upgrade to be applied throughout the Court<br />
systems to improve service, save time and money, and improve citation data transfer from the<br />
Police Department.<br />
Outcome: Reduced expenses and improved revenues from use <strong>of</strong> technology. Automate<br />
transmittal <strong>of</strong> data to the MVD and improve effectiveness at collecting fines, fees, and<br />
restitution. Import citation data from the Police Department, eliminating duplicate efforts.<br />
Action: Tech Services and Court will work together to assess the current needs, implement<br />
where needed, and determine value added.<br />
Measure: Efficiency and effectiveness improvement will be identified and reported. Enhanced<br />
revenue reported.<br />
