AT METLIFE STADIUM The <strong>Giants</strong> are 5-2 at MetLife Stadium in 2012<br />

with wins over the Buccaneers (41-34, Week 2), Browns (41-27, Week<br />

5), Redskins (27-23, Week 7), Packers (38-10, Week 12) and Saints<br />

(52-27, Week 14). The <strong>Giants</strong> have outscored opponents 236-169 and<br />

are averaging 33.7 points per game at home in MetLife Stadium this<br />

season. The <strong>Giants</strong>’ 236 points are a franchise-best through seven<br />

home games. The <strong>Giants</strong> are 13 points shy of breaking the singleseason<br />

home scoring record set in 2007 (248).<br />

GIANTS CONNECTIONS Head Coach Tom Coughlin’s first coaching position in the NFL was as<br />

a wide receivers coach for the Eagles, where he spent two seasons (1984-85). Secondary/cornerbacks<br />

coach Peter Giunta also had his first NFL coaching position with the Eagles, where he<br />

coached the secondary for four seasons (1991-94).<br />

TAKING WHAT’S THEIRS The <strong>Giants</strong> defense has forced at least one turnover in 42 of the last 47<br />

games, including the playoffs. The only exceptions are Dec. 23, 2012 against the Baltimore Ravens,<br />

Dec. 16, 2012 against the Atlanta Falcons, Sep. 30, 2012 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Nov. 28,<br />

2011 against the <strong>New</strong> Orleans Saints and Jan. 8, 2012 against the Atlanta Falcons in the Wild Card<br />

Playoff game. <strong>New</strong> <strong>York</strong> is 1-4 in those contests. The last time the <strong>Giants</strong> did not force a turnover<br />

in consecutive games was the final two games of the 2009 season, vs. Carolina and Minnesota.<br />

BRADSHAW SURPASSES 7,000 Running back Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 39 yards and caught an<br />

eight-yard pass in Week 16 at Baltimore. The 47 yards increased his career total (rushing, receiving<br />

and returns) to 7,020. He is the seventh player in <strong>Giants</strong> history with more than 7,000 total yards.<br />

CRUZ DOES IT AGAIN Wide receiver Victor Cruz had three receptions for 21 yards in Week 16 at<br />

Baltimore, increasing his season totals to 82 catches for 1,040 yards and nine touchdowns. He is<br />

the first Giant in history with 80 catches, 1,000 yards and nine touchdowns in consecutive seasons.<br />
