Field tests in a temperate climate have proven the polyester enclosures withstand oudoor exposure for at least 20 years, without affecting the functional properties. If the surface aspect is important, or if the enclosures are to be used in unprotected areas with high solar radiation, we recommend the use of a protective coating, prolonging the expected lifetime with 10 years.
