(2,021 in 1970)…Ranks 2nd in school history<br />

with 61 kickoff returns, topped by only<br />

Jon Jeffries (67; 1987-91)…Set the school<br />

single-season record by returning 2 kickoffs<br />

for touchdowns in 2010 (also tied the Tech<br />

career record that he shares with Terry<br />

Strock (1959-61)…Placed 4th on the school’s<br />

career list with 1,324 kickoff return yards.<br />

2012 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:<br />

- Saw action as the kick returner and at<br />

running back vs. <strong>New</strong> Orleans (12/9)... He<br />

scored on a 97-yard kickoff return and had<br />

other returns of 58 and 52 yards. He also<br />

rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns.<br />

His 327 all-purpose yards established a team<br />

record. The former mark of 303 was set by<br />

Domenik Hixon at <strong>New</strong> Orleans on Oct. 18,<br />

2009. Hixon’s breakdown was 230 yards on<br />

kickoff returns, 51 on punt returns and 22<br />

on receptions... He is the first player in NFL<br />

history with at least 200 kickoff return yards<br />

and 100 rushing yards in the same game...<br />

Wilson’s 227 kickoff return yards (on four<br />

runbacks) was the third-highest single-game<br />

total in <strong>Giants</strong> history, surpassed only by<br />

Willie Ponder’s 259 yards vs. Pittsburgh on<br />

Dec. 18, 2004 and Hixon’s 230 yards at <strong>New</strong><br />

Orleans in 2009.<br />

- Returned four kickoffs for 83 yards at<br />

Washington (12/3)...Also saw action at running<br />

back, rushing four times for nine yards.<br />

- Saw action at running back and kick<br />

returner vs. Green Bay (11/25)...Rushed six<br />

times for 13 yards and returned three kickoffs<br />

for 72 yards...Became the <strong>Giants</strong> rookiereturn<br />

all-time leader.<br />

- Saw action at running back and kick<br />

returner at Cincinnat (11/11)...Rushed one<br />

time for one yard...Returned six kickoffs for<br />

107 yards, with a long of 29.<br />
