The Boiler will primarily use Biogas (which will be generated from the treatment of waste water at the existing Bio- Methanation Plant, without any additional cost). The other fuel will be Biomass. GSL has engaged Ernst & Young as Advisors for matters related to ‘Kyoto Protocol’ under U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). E&Y will also assist the Company in getting the potential benefits of the GHG Abatement Project under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol. The Company has estimated a total cost of Rs. 15 lakhs under this head, mainly on account of payment to various agencies (E&Y, etc.).
