Experimental valid<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

With the difficulty to measure the temper<strong>at</strong>ure <strong>and</strong> humidity inside the wheel for the detailed<br />

model only the temper<strong>at</strong>ure <strong>and</strong> humidity profiles as well as the mean temper<strong>at</strong>ure <strong>and</strong><br />

humidity r<strong>at</strong>io <strong>at</strong> the outlet of the wheel will be valid<strong>at</strong>ed.<br />

In order to valid<strong>at</strong>e the temper<strong>at</strong>ure <strong>and</strong> humidity distribution <strong>at</strong> the outlet of the wheel, 3<br />

psychrometers <strong>and</strong> 3 Pt100 temper<strong>at</strong>ure sensors (3 humidity measurments <strong>and</strong> 6<br />

temper<strong>at</strong>ure measurements) are used in order to valid<strong>at</strong>e the profiles as shown in the below.<br />
