The plant quality was judged quite well by the plant owners (see Figure 4); for “moder<strong>at</strong>e”<br />

<strong>and</strong> “bad” following additional inform<strong>at</strong>ion or impressions were given:<br />

The plant was not ready for daily use <strong>and</strong> needed a lot of manual adjustments,<br />

therefore, the plant has been dismounted<br />

2.2.3 System configur<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

From the technology side 14 of the evalu<strong>at</strong>ed plants are equipped with absorption chillers<br />

only four are adsorption chiller systems. The preferably used technology on the solar thermal<br />

side are fl<strong>at</strong> pl<strong>at</strong>e collectors (14 plants), only three plants oper<strong>at</strong>e with evacu<strong>at</strong>ed tube<br />

collectors <strong>and</strong> one uses both types of solar collectors.<br />
