The fraction of free cooling in the months July, August <strong>and</strong> September (2009) is shown in<br />

Figure 12 including detailed numbers in the tables below.<br />

Approxim<strong>at</strong>ely one third of the total cooling load was done by free cooling. The free cooling<br />

mode is especially running in night times <strong>and</strong> on rainy days.<br />

4.2.3 Improvements / changes 2009-2010<br />

After the monitoring period 2009 some changes <strong>and</strong> improvements have been performed.<br />

The main changes were:<br />

• beginning of May10: Maintenance of the cooling tower<br />

• end of May10:<br />

o supply temper<strong>at</strong>ure of chilled ceiling from 17°C to 15°C<br />

o clearance temper<strong>at</strong>ure (upper storage temp.) for starting the ACM from 75°C<br />

to 88°C<br />
