An overview of all monitored d<strong>at</strong>a points is given in Table 1. The controlling <strong>and</strong> monitoring<br />

issues are done by three programmable logic controllers. Overall 111 points are logged on a<br />

local PC. The access to this d<strong>at</strong>a store is provided by internet <strong>and</strong> a remote control system.<br />

3.2 Period of Measurement<br />

The monitoring system of the CoolCabin is in oper<strong>at</strong>ion since the commissioning in<br />

September 2008. Additional monitoring equipment for level III was completed in June 2009.<br />

Monitoring is ongoing.<br />

The p<strong>at</strong>ency of d<strong>at</strong>a logging (Fehler! Verweisquelle konnte nicht gefunden werden.) is<br />

very high (>96%). Nameable gaps crop up only when the CoolCabin is out of service. One<br />

problem occurred was a roof avalanche th<strong>at</strong> got down on the radi<strong>at</strong>ion sensor. Consequently<br />

no solar radi<strong>at</strong>ion d<strong>at</strong>a was monitored from Jan10 to April10. The missing d<strong>at</strong>a was<br />

calcul<strong>at</strong>ed out of Q1 using a monthly efficiency of the solar collectors including the he<strong>at</strong><br />

exchanger.<br />
