Multimedia and interactive telepresence
Using simple tools, ORICS ® makes possible a multimedia, interactive
telepresence and efficient and practice-oriented knowledge
exchange. ORICS ® transmits operations over the network,
live and in television quality – video images from a surgical
camera as well as pictures from an endoscope or similar camera.
Simple installation · Intuitive operation
The newest generation of the ORICS ® is especially reliable and
intuitive to operate. It is simple, quick, cost-effective and can be
installed on current PCs without structural modifications and
adapted to any network infrastructure. Thanks to the telestrator,
any equipped workstation will take the viewer right into the OR,
where he or she can interactively communicate with the surgical
team. If findings are unexpected, it greatly simplifies consultation
with colleagues and obtaining that second opinion quickly.
Quality Assurance · Patient Counseling
ORICS ® contributes substantially to quality assurance and
patient counseling, in addition to offering new possibilities for
training and continuing education. ORICS ® also relieves the
physician of administrative duties and multimedia documentation
of activities. Stored on external media and/or server,
images are available at any time.
