TEMPORARY HEATER INACTIVITY
For several days of heater inactivity we recommend setting the thermostat knob at the position between the thinnest
arrow position and the “E” symbol.
For longer inactivation:
- During summer and anyplace where the temperature of the room with the installed heater, including summer,
does not fall bellow zero, shut down the electricity supply.
- During winter, the heater should be connected to the electrical network and the thermostat knob should be set at
the thinnest arrow line.
13.
HEATER MAINTENANCE
For correct function and safety, and for long-term operation it is necessary, at least once every two years, to contact the
service centre to check the heater and the anode rod wear. If the bar is worn out, replacement should be performed.
Limescale forms in the boiler during operation while the formation velocity is dependant on the water hardness and the
temperature to which the water is heated, as well as on the volume of water consumed and its temperature.
A limescale layer deteriorates heat transmission between the heating body and the water, due to
which the water heating itself decreases and burn-out of the heating element spiral can occur.
