2. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
EU Classification: According to the latest adaptations of European Union Directives 67/548/EEC and
99/45/EC, this preparation is not hazardous.

Primary Route(s) of Exposure: Not applicable.
Acute Health Hazards: The presence of water and this product together on any surface will result in that
surface becoming extremely slippery. In common with most organic substances, this
product should be treated as a combustible dust when in the finely-divided and airsuspended
state. Local nuisance dust OES applies.
Chronic Health Hazards: None expected based on available data- see Toxicological Data Section 11.
Signs and Symptoms of Overexposure
Eye Contact: May cause slight eye irritation.

Skin Contact: Prolonged contact with the dry powder may cause drying or chapping of the skin.
Ingestion: Not a hazard under normal use conditions.
Inhalation: Excessive inhalation of dust can mechanically impede respiration. Due to the
hygroscopic properties of the gums, they can form a paste or gel in the airway.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Eye Contact: Flush with copious amounts of water.
Skin Contact: Wash with soap and water.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Slowly dilute with 1-2 glasses of water or milk and seek
medical attention. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Inhalation: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing or if breathing is difficult, give artificial
respiration or oxygen by trained personnel. Seek medical attention.

Extinguishing Media: Water spray / Foam / Dry powder
Unusual Fire/Explosion Hazards: Powdered material may form explosive dust-air mixtures.
