Philosophy of Education
My philosophy of education is making the perfect pizza with all the toppings
because education is very important to me. I believe everyone deserves a good education;
therefore, I want to educate young children. Education has a purpose in my life and that
will reflect on my goals for my student’s achievement. Both the teacher and student are
educated in school; teachers and students also have their own roles in schools. Education
is very purposeful. Education in my classroom should allow all students and the teacher
to set goals, achieve their goals, and grow in a positive learning environment.
Education has a purpose; its purpose is to better the lives of anyone who receives
one. Education allows children to grow and be unique in their values. This means they
grow into smart individuals and live fulfilled lives. Education allows a child’s mind to
expand and be creative allowing them to be individuals. Education serves the purpose of
assisting the child in their journey to learn many new things. The following ideas of
growth, creativeness, and fulfilled lives are the main ideas in the goals I want students to
achieve. Students should be able to set their own goals in which they want to achieve.
My main goal is to provide a framework of knowledge and growth. I want my
students to grow. I want them to expand their mind and become the best they can. By this
I mean for them to become creative, unique, free, choosing and responsible. I want them
to grow and be able to experience new things and show new emotions. These goals of
mine will allow the children to be intelligent and stand out as individuals as they grow
older. I also believe the teacher should grow and learn along with the students. This
allows the teacher to model ways to grow, be creative, and become and individual.
Seeing the students grow will be fulfilling. Students are key to my goals; however, they
serve their own purpose at school.
Students are the crucial to education and my career. As students, they have their
own roles or responsibilities in the school. The students are in the schools to grow and
learn as the teachers guide them. Their role is to become individuals as they learn; they
should begin to practice the correct principles demonstrated by the teacher. They are
responsible for learning; they will experience new things that will teach them who they
are and who everyone else is. They are responsible for putting in all the effort they can
provide. They need to be active and enthusiastic; they also need to get involved and
achieve their set standards. A positive learning environment is crucial for students to be
responsible, active, and ready to learn. Students play roles but must abide by the teachers
who also have roles.
Teachers are important in the school; each teacher has a responsibility to get to
know the students. Teachers need to know and understand their subject matter to get
students excited and educated. The teacher must teach all the students by teaching using
various learning styles and teaching methods. The teacher is there to assist the children
through their journey and help them grow. It is necessary for the teacher to reform the
children into well-rounded individuals to succeed in their lives. The teacher should
demonstrate correct principles while explaining the reasoning behind the principles. The
teacher needs to support the children in positive ways while putting in all the effort they
can provide. The teacher also needs to bridge to the community by allowing the children
to do community projects and learn about their community.
Education is learning new things by a certain process; therefore, education has
many important purposes. The main purpose of education in my goals for students to
achieve is growth. Many factors play into this purpose such as creativeness and becoming
and individual. The teacher needs to assist and positively provide support for the
students. Teachers should grow and be and individual along with the students. The
students then need to learn new things and put them into practice later in life. A positive
learning environment, different teaching methods, and setting goals will allow education
to have a purpose in my classroom. This is my philosophy of education and I can not wait
to put it into practice in my own classroom.
