The <strong>Africa</strong>n Development Bank Group (AfDB), headquartered in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, is an<br />
international financial institution created in 1964 to promote the economic and social<br />
development of member <strong>Africa</strong>n countries. Due to the current situation in the host country,<br />
the AfDB has temporarily relocated to Tunis, Tunisia, until the political situation has<br />
normalized in Côte d'Ivoire. The Bank Group covers <strong>Africa</strong> exclusively, with its lending<br />
operations and non-lending development activities all centered on <strong>Africa</strong>. Additional<br />
