Getting Started
During orientation week students should complete all items in the “Start Here” folder
in the ANGEL course site under the course materials tab. Completion of the Precourse
Assessment, Student Information Survey, and Course Procedures Quiz are
required before access to the unit one materials will be provided. The first item to be
completed is the Pre-course Assessment. The purpose of the Pre-course
Assessment is to determine the students’ baseline level of knowledge on concept
and principles that will be taught in the course. This is not a graded assessment.
Upon completion of this assessment students will be granted access to the second
required item, the Student Information Survey. Students should answer all
questions on the Student Information Survey completely and honestly so we may
better serve students’ needs. The final required item in the “Start Here” folder will
appear after the first two are completed. The Course Procedures Quiz will cover
processes and procedures outlined in this syllabus. Bonus points will be earned for
completing this quiz.
