In many cases, people are unwilling to reveal certain types <strong>of</strong> in<strong>for</strong>mation, especially financial<br />
in<strong>for</strong>mation such as income levels, and even discussing production levels can be sensitive. Income<br />
data <strong>based</strong> on surveys and conventional participatory methods should be treated with extreme<br />
caution since they are likely to suffer from major bias problems 9<br />
